Terms of use
The rules for using Drivings — your account, subscription, acceptable use and our shared responsibilities.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Drivings you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Drivings Ltd.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Drivings. By signing up you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details secret and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us straight away at support@drivings.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.
Accounts are for one person. Sharing logins with friends or family isn't permitted and may result in suspension.
4. Subscription and billing
Drivings is sold as an annual or monthly subscription. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We may change pricing from time to time — any change applies to your next renewal, never the period you've already paid for.
5. Free trial
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial with full access. If you don't cancel before day 7, your card is charged for the first period of your chosen plan. One trial per customer.
6. Acceptable use
When using Drivings, please don't:
- Copy, scrape, resell or redistribute any of the content in the app.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from our software.
- Use bots, automated tools or unauthorised clients to access the service.
- Share your account, sell access, or use Drivings for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
- Do anything that disrupts the service or compromises the security of other users' accounts.
7. Intellectual property
All content, design, software and trademarks in Drivings are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the service while it's active — it doesn't transfer ownership of anything to you.
8. Third-party services
The service may link to or rely on third-party tools (payment processors, app stores, analytics providers). We aren't responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Please review them separately if you have concerns.
9. Disclaimer
Drivings is provided "as is". While we work hard to keep the content accurate and the service available, we can't guarantee a specific outcome or that the service will be free of bugs or interruptions. Nothing on Drivings is a substitute for professional driving instruction.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Indemnification
You agree to cover any reasonable losses or costs we incur as a result of you breaking these terms or misusing the service.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account if it's used in breach of these terms, if we're required to by law, or to protect the safety of the service. You can close your account at any time from settings or by emailing us.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll let you know by email or with an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Drivings after the changes means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law gives you the right to sue in your own country.
